Our approach to coaching is both psychologically informed and pragmatic.
We know how organisations work, and how to patrol the boundaries between individual aspirations and the expectations and needs of employers.
We believe that most performance blocks relate to broader life issues, and that sometimes (but not always) it is fruitful to explore with our clients the patterns established in our formative years. The ways in which these patterns impinge upon our current behaviours can often have a profound impact on work performance.
Whilst we have many helpful techniques for building commitment to change and overcoming psychological hurdles to performance, it is our view that in the end it is our job to unlock potential rather than provide ready-made solutions.
“If practice makes perfect, be careful what you practice.”
William Ellery Channing
